What is Neck pain?
Neck pain is common, with 30-50% of the population having neck pain at some point during the year, the NECK PAIN TASK FORCE an initiative of the WHO (World Health Organization) found that each year 11-14% of people report being limited in the activities due to neck pain.
What causes neck pain?
Neck pain is multi-factorial and can come from a number of disorders or diseases that involve any of the tissues in the neck, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments or muscles. Certainly acute trauma such as sports injuries or a motor vehicle accident can be a cause. Other causes can take months to years to appear such poor posture, arthritis, disc degeneration, and narrowing of the spinal canal. However when no one event can be identified as a single cause, a number of risk factors both modifiable and non-modifiable should be considered.
How can chiropractic help to relieve back pain?
Chiropractors are trained in assessing and diagnosing neck pain. Once a diagnosis has been arrived at, a specific treatment regime of chiropractic manual therapy, electrotherapy and home exercises will be implemented to first help ease the pain associated with neck pain, and then to restore motion and function to the affected area allowing you to resume your daily activities.

I was in a car accident and went to physiotherapy for months and came out still in pain. I started seeing Dr. Finn for my shoulder injury and for the 1st time in over a year I started feeling relief. He's one of the nicest Dr's I've ever encountered and I refer everyone there as soon as I get an opportunity. Even if I haven't been there in a while, I get a call checking up on me. AMAZING AMAZING DR.
